Crossroads Music

Crossroads Music is rooted deeply in Crossroads Church which is based in Cincinnati Ohio. We’re musicians, pastors, artists, writers, daughters, sons, moms, dads, campers and non-campers, who work hard to create a community for our friends who have given up on church but not on God. We’re a mix of the spices we have on our team; country, gospel and rock. We’re from the midwest and we’re pretty good at it.

"We’re incredibly excited and humbled to release this record.  We believe it will not only give our church useful songs for worship, but also dangerous prayers, petitions, and proclamations to a God that’s wild about us and the adventurous life he’s given us."

I Will Remember

Throughout the Psalms we see the authors write to their own souls: “why are you downcast?”

They command them to rise up and sing of the faithfulness of God despite their circumstances. In “I Will Remember” we find a weapon for our souls to sing with lungs full of air, at the top of our voice.

This song is better experienced loud.

Always Moving

“I don’t know how you always do it, You never change, You’re always moving” is the anchor lyric of this song.

When we truly experience the miraculous, perfect power of God on display in a broken world, it stops us in our tracks. We can’t help but sing “Great is your faithfulness” in light of who he is and what he’s done in our lives.

Take Me Deeper

This might be the most dangerous song on the whole album. “I want to know you Jesus in your suffering, take me deeper” is at the heart of this song.

It’s a song of sober surrender that our church needs to sing and experience.

We’re simply asking God to take us to a new place by whatever means he deems necessary.

Oh The Power

The cross and the blood of Jesus solved two seemingly irreparable issues for the human condition: our sinful nature and our sins.

We trade our slavery for sonship when we come to know Jesus as our Savior. “Oh The Power” is an anthem celebrating what God has done to reconcile us to him.

Grateful

Gratitude is the condition of the heart when it soberly acknowledges its need for a savior and experiences grace.

“Grateful” tenderly and triumphantly helps us approach our God with awe and humility while reveling in the newfound freedom we have as adopted sons and daughters.
