Year in Review | 2021

This year the MultiTracks.com ecosystem became more connected than ever to help keep your worship and production resources perfectly in sync.

Playback received the most feature updates of any year in its existence, we opened our doors to brand new sessions, welcomed new patch producers, and were joined by some amazing guests for a third season of The Worship & Technology Podcast.

Let’s take a look back at this year and celebrate some of the biggest moments of 2021!

The Connected Stage

In 2021, we released The Connected Stage™

The Connected Stage™ visually and auditorily expressed how our comprehensive suite of apps and services work together to fully prepare your worship teams and how they give hours back so teams can focus on the ministry they foster in their local communities.

Discover how our ecosystem unlocks a synchronized worship experience to help your team prepare, practice, and lead as one below.

Pad Player

This new feature in Playback allowed for the use of continuous pads in live worship supporting every song, transition, and unplanned moment.

Pad Player links to your setlist in Playback, following song keys and transitions with the Ambient Pad of your choosing. You can fade any pad in or out at any point with the Pad button in the top transport row.

Playback for Mac

Playback was made available for Mac this year.

Playback for Mac is compatible with the Dante network: the most professional audio setups used in churches, concert venues and arenas, can send up to 32 audio outputs, and features advanced MIDI Out routing.

Lead Worship Well

We launched this very platform on June 30th, 2021.

Lead Worship Well was launched as an effort to create a dedicated space for artist Q&As, songwriting insight, pastoral and practical guidance from worship leaders, and more. After going live this summer, we’ve heard from numerous worship groups on the inspiration behind their releases, spotlighted up and coming CCM and Gospel artists, and conducted interviews with Bethel Music, Hillsong Worship, Maverick City Music and more.

You can follow along on Facebook & Instagram @leadworshipwell.

MultiTracks Sessions

We were able to reopen our doors over the summer for live sessions.

We captured Charity Gayle’s “Thank You Jesus for the Blood,” a song that was consistently in the MultiTracks Top 10, and “New Name Written Down In Glory,” one of our most-requested songs to date. Jonathan Traylor performed his hopeful anthem “I’ll Follow You” and the Communion-inspired “The Table.”

We were so excited to finally host The Belonging Co, as we had postponed their recording from the top of the pandemic. Henry Seeley leading “Every Victory” is live and we’ll have more songs released in 2022!

ChartBuilder 2.0

ChartBuilder got a new look and so much more in 2021.

ChartBuilder brings you access to over 17,000 charts that perfectly match the MultiTrack. You can personalize your chart with options for chord displays, keys, MD notes, and you can even manage your setlists and team members all from within the app. And, with the addition of RehearsalMix, you can listen to your instrument part elevated or muted in the mix while following along with the chart.

ChartBuilder is available in the App Store and on Google Play.

The Worship & Technology Podcast | Season 3

Our show closed out its second season with some very talented guests including CeCe Winans, and the show took a new direction for Season 3 which launched in the fall.

We pivoted to a topic-based season and extended our guest invitations to authors, speakers and influencers. Joel Houston spoke on finding purpose in the creative process and not letting success become an enemy of your art. Darlene Zscheche spoke on gender equality in the Church and empowering women in leadership. Carlos Whittaker encouraged us to locate the lies we believe and replace them with the truth of who we are in Christ, and more. Season 3 will continue on in the new year! You can find The Worship & Technology Podcast everywhere you listen to podcasts.

Playback Sync

We made it possible for worship teams to never swipe their charts again with Playback Sync.

With Playback Sync, your charts in ChartBuilder will automatically scroll through your song arrangements and transitions, no matter where you go in your setlist, freeing you up to focus on leading worship, not navigating through your charts.

As this year comes to a close, we want to say thank you to all of you that use our platform in some way. We are thankful for you. Your feedback helped to shape the future of MultiTracks.com, and we are looking ahead to an exciting 2022.

Follow us on Instagram (@multitracks) to never miss a new feature update to one of our products, new releases, new sessions and more.
