Equippers Worship

From the start of this project, we just wanted to make music that glorified Jesus.

Towards the end of 2020, we felt like we needed to change things up. We were very comfortable in our songwriting processes and we really felt God leading us into an uncomfortable space where we would be required to trust Him more. For us, the studio was our comfort zone. We were confident to work hard and craft songs, but we felt that it was time to try something new.

So instead of spending weeks in the studio working on songs, we took the summer to spend time with God and write on our own, and then we came together and worshipped as a team. By no means was this a groundbreaking, new way of doing things, but it was new for us and forced us into an uncomfortable space.

It has been such a refreshing experience for us, in stepping out and trusting God for songs that our church can sing.

All Glory was one of the first songs that we wrote, and from there it was very clear that the project would be called All Glory. It expresses our desire to give God all the glory and honour, and sings of our gratitude to be able to stand in His presence and worship Him. It has already been an anthem of worship for our church, and we pray that it helps people to glorify God.

We had a small worship night in an old upper room at our church here in Auckland, New Zealand. We invited some of our team and captured that night. God moved powerfully and these songs have been helping our church to connect with God and lift Him up in worship. Our team in London also recorded a night of worship, and we can’t wait for the project to be released as it is truly a global sound of our church.
